On another note I am realllllly into comics at the moment. Reading The Watchmen graphic novel right now.

I went to a comic book store today in NYC and was asking the dudes there about this comic. I got it when I was with my brother in a comic book store in upstate NY in the ’80’s and couldn’t find it anywhere. For a while I couldn’t remember what the hell it was called, and then comic dude looked in some Holy Grail comics reference guide and found out it only ran from ‘87-’88, was called California Girls, and only had 8 issues. Hmmm….sounds like another mag I am obsessed with. Anywhoodle, I just bought all the issues on eBay for less than 2 bucks each. Hot shit.

I am not sold on Jimmy Kimmel on late-night TV, but I AM sold on the house band – The Roots! Justin Timberlake was one of the guests tonight, and as soon as he and Jimmy started singing their “Barry Gib Talk SHow” theme song, the band chimed right in. It was amazing. The Roots are true musicians.

They just showed the Staten Island Ferry on The City and then they showed the x17 bus which goes to Staten Island! Oh dookie, they be loving this nasty island.

I have no pictures for you,  my friends. Coming soon. I CAN say that I found a baby blue Members Only jacket in mint condish at the Salvation Army yesterday and I am bucktown about it. Nydia found a He-Man record and a mullet wig. Thank you, we have now been saved by the army.
