I expected a waaaay different picture of Sam Sparro and THEN I saw this hilarious hipster little man. He is unapologetically gay and I love it.

The ladies of M.I.S.S. sent me a care package, which I received today! I feel like I am back at summer camp at the JCC and my mom just sent me a box filled with Cowtales, Jolly Ranchers, and Betty and Veronica Double Digests. Everybody in my cabin liked me the day I got my packages. Which is why everyone will like me tonight when I have a DimePiece lucky rabbit’s foot hanging from my “pocketbook” (such a mom word) at the Lykke Li show tonight. I might even do my hair in a Fronch braid. Watch out now.

Anyway, it is by Ricardo “Slic” Williams – it shall hang right next to my framed albums by Rick James and Stevie Wonder, and of course also next to my black and white photo of Michael Jackson. These men moved mountains. Call it my music Rushmore.
