I got my nails done a while back, and it was the first time I had gotten non-acrylic fake tips. The girls at Valley say all that grinding is unnecessary; in fact, they believe that nail salons use the electric grinder to keep your real nails weak so you keep coming back for more and more appointments for acrylics. I was so sad I couldn’t go to the Betsey Johnson show this week for NYFW. I feel like I got to know her after this post I wrote for M.I.S.S., and I would have loved to see that cartwheel of hers! This white suit is the bee’s knees, kids.

So… CHECK THIS CRAZY PITCHUR!!! The television just told me that Dr. Dre produced the fab song “Supersonic” by J.J. Fad, and then my friend Jesse showed me this flick. Our Facebook conversation went as follows:
Him: He also did THIS. Peep the sweater!
Me: holy crow that is the best pitchur I have ever seen.
Him: It’s like a chef’s coat but sweater. That blog is the realness
Me: I think they were going for Surgeon, but could only find the McCall pattern for “Chef”

SO, I am still not over the passing of Michael Jackson…..but I am over the radio playing the same 5 Michael Jackson songs over and over again. Yes, “Rock With You”, “Beat It”, and “Thriller” are amazing songs…..but there were SO MANY other fantastic songs by the Jackson 5, The Jacksons, and from Michael Jackson’s solo career when he first came out. Radio DJs need to dig a little deeper and surprise the audience a little with some rare Jackson gems. I myself recently downloaded about 40 MJ songs that I had either never heard before or had only heard only a few times. The best album on iTunes for these neglected cuts is called Hello World: The Motown Solo Collection. Below is a little taste of what to expect…
